if only reality had an off switch .
i would be holding hands ,
spiraling in flight through the myriad of stars ,
in a deep navy & purple sky ,
aurora after unreal aurora ,
colors jumping like my heart does
when you embrace me tight .

Hyper, crazy, and annoying
With people I just know I'm:
Calm, smart-sounding, and artistic
With people I like I'm:
An idiot.

on my soul just
to find the words
you cannot say
in my presence;
but behind my
back you glow
with arrogance.

Sitting here tonight,
Staring out at the sky,
I can't help but wonder;
Why?
Why must I know you're there,
But never get to see you?
{Do you know how tormenting this is?}
I feel you;
E.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.
{You're a part of me}
When you're lying next to me,
I feel better then words can describe-
I'm whole.
But when you leave me-
Baby, I'm empty.
{Broken; missing something, something vital to my very existence}
Why must you leave me?
Why can't you stay?

You know I do.

such a pretty image comes to mind when I read this. I almost think that you could separate the first line from the second to make the poem even more powerful though. I tripped over it there since I thought there was a comma instead of a period at the end of the first line. Just my thoughts though 
I love this poem.
